Business Networking is one of the most effective activities of creating, recognizing and acting upon business opportunities. It allows the professionals to build new business relationships and generate new business opportunities while also strengthening the relationships you already have.
This workshop focuses on creating comfort around effective communication in social and professional settings and provides easy-to-follow social guidelines that help to enhance leadership skills and strengthen self-confidence. Small talk, elevator pitch, "schmoozing" or "rubbing elbows" and online networking are just a small part of professional networking skills. This workshop will cover the following:
FACE-TO-FACE BUSINESS NETWORKING leverages ones presentation skills to create a strong and lasting impression of one's competency. Most professionals prefer face-to-face networking because of the opportunity to evaluate the effect of one's message as well as clarify any misunderstandings immediately: however, one of the biggest obstacles that individuals face during networking is discomfort in social situations and speaking in public.
Over the past decade, the majority of business networking has moved to an online forum, where professionals can reach out to business contacts in order to promote their skills and services on a global level. Professional social networking platforms also allows people to keep in touch despite time zone difference or traveling. These types of business relationships tend to be more open than the traditional hierarchical approach, moving societal ways to a more informal and relaxed form of communication.
